Sin and Culture

In a recent class discussion, the question came up of whether sin was culturally defined or not. I’ve created this poll to get your responses. Feel free to add your own answer in the poll and to comment on this post.

I am having trouble answering the question because even if sin is culturally defined that doesn’t mean the Bible doesn’t clearly define what sin is. For me the Bible defines most sin (not all), but at the same time the culture defines regardless of what the Bible says about it. And the culture definitely defines the severity of the sin.

I would have to agree with your views Alex. Excellent insight.
